Getting started
How do I start a space for my group?
Download Wellora, tap Create a space, give it a name and your colours, and share the join code with your people. Setup takes about a minute, and a guided checklist walks you through your first week. The full loop is on How it works.
How do members join?
With the code you share, in the group chat or at your next session. No forms, no payment details, ever. The app is free for members on the App Store and Google Play.
Is this another app I have to manage?
No. You set it up once and the week mostly runs itself: members check in for about a minute a day, and streaks and gentle nudges keep the momentum going, not you. Your job shrinks to a glance and the occasional hello.
Does it work without a smartwatch?
Yes, on any phone, with everything entered by hand if you like. If a member uses Apple Health or Health Connect, Wellora reads steps and sleep automatically and never writes anything back. A watch helps, but it is never required.
The money
Is it really free, and what is the catch?
Your first 50 members are free with every feature, and members never pay. Past 50, the organiser pays a small monthly fee. That is the whole model: we earn from organisers, never from selling data. Plans are on Pricing.
What happens when my group passes 50 members?
We tell you first. You are never charged without hearing from us, and your space keeps working while you decide. When you are ready, you pick a plan on Pricing.
Can members ever be charged?
No. Members are free forever, on either store, no matter how large your group grows. Only the organiser ever pays for anything.
Privacy and data
Can I see my members' health data?
No, and neither can we. As a host you see who is taking part and who has gone quiet, never anyone's numbers, entries, or notes. That boundary is built in, not a setting. The full promise is on Privacy.
Where is my data stored?
In Australian data centres in Sydney, encrypted in transit and at rest. You can export everything, or delete your account and data in the app in a couple of taps: Settings, Manage my data, Delete account. The deletion is immediate and real.
What do you do with my data?
We show it back to you, and that is it. No ads, no trackers, no selling or sharing with third parties. The only thing we collect beyond your entries is anonymous crash reporting so we can fix what breaks. Plain-English detail on Privacy.
The app
Is it on Android?
Yes. Wellora is live on both the App Store and Google Play, and members are free on both.
Is this a medical app?
No. Wellora is a general wellbeing tool, not a medical device or clinical assessment. It keeps groups moving and connected. If you run funded health programs and need participation reporting, see For organisations.
